Symantec Distributor of the Year Award for Ingram Micro

Sydney, Australia, 14 May, 2013. Ingram Micro, Australia’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain, mobile device lifecycle services and logistics solutions, was awarded Distributor of the Year at an exclusive dinner function last night to celebrate Symantec’s Pacific Partner Awards. 

Matt Sanderson, VP and Managing Director of Ingram Micro Australia, says the company is thrilled to receive the award, and puts its success down to a well-coordinated strategy to build Symantec business.

“Our Symantec teams focused hard on educating reseller partners on the business benefits Symantec’s solutions deliver, increasing renewal rates, generating new business and enabling our reseller partners with strong support from our licensing and business development teams in helping them with quoting and uncovering new opportunities,” he says.

“It’s a strategy that’s delivered great results and the team here has done a fantastic job,” says Sanderson. “We’ve really enjoyed working alongside the Symantec team and driving some great results this year, and we’re excited about continuing that momentum into the next year too.” 

The awards night was co-hosted by Brenton Smith, VP and Managing Director for Symantec, Pacific Region and Klasie Holtzhausen, Senior Director, Channel and Alliances, Symantec, Pacific Region.
