Interactive Facebook app built by Bullseye

Maybelline New Zealand has launched an interactive Facebook app to promote its new Color Show nail polish collection.

The Maybelline Nail Art Factory app allows visitors to upload their own nail art to become the Maybelline Nail Expert, vote on their favourite designs to win the new nail polish collection, and try on different colours and patterns in the interactive factory.

The Maybelline Nail Art Factory was originally developed by L’OREAL in the USA, but local agency Bullseye Digital (New Zealand) adapted the concept for New Zealand.

Alicia Collier from L’OREAL NZ said: “It’s amazing to see the skill and creativity people have! We have been blown away by the entries received so far.”

Bullseye also created animated page takeovers to promote the app on key fashion websites such as Beauty Bible and Fashion NZ.
