Strong Australian growth propels Mark Group UK to top export accolade to top export accolade

Established in 2009, Mark Group Australia was the first global subsidiary Mark Group UK launched, and it has enjoyed 67% year-on-year revenue growth thanks to an ever-increasing demand for energy efficiency solutions, including solar power and insulation.
Mark Group Australia Chairman Rob Grant was the company’s very first employee in Australia and has overseen the company’s growth to a staff of 132 in four states.
“We are now the largest installer of solar PV in Australia,” Grant said.
“We install insulation for some of the country’s largest home builders including McDonald Jones, Clarendon Homes and GJ King, and we’re actively building new revenue streams in commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy as well as expanding our product offer to include low energy lighting solutions and heating products.”
Grant said solar PV is increasing in spite of feed-in tariffs and subsidies being lowered and that people are seeking to make their homes more energy efficient though the use of products such as high performance insulation.
“Our business is the beneficiary of generational change as Australians realise that there is more to be gained from making their homes more energy efficiency than a rebate on power,” Grant said.
“As well as the general comfort factor of having a well-insulated home and avoiding rising power costs, our customers know they are making a responsible and sustainable choice,” he said.
