SHOCK ENTERTAINMENT RENEWS WWE® HOME ENTERTAINMENT PARTNERSHIP

MELBOURNE, Australia (July 18, 2013) – Shock Entertainment today announced that it is extending its current Home Entertainment distribution deal with WWE, the recognized leader in global sports entertainment. The three-year deal sees Shock Entertainment continue its digital and physical distribution rights, building on their success with the brand in Australia and New Zealand.

 

Shock Entertainment has been the licensed distributor of WWE Home Entertainment merchandise throughout Australia and New Zealand for more than 10 years, amassing total sales in excess of 2.5 million products. Digital sales for WWE have also increased exponentially and present new opportunities for fans to take WWE content with them wherever they go.

The news comes as Australia prepares for the arrival of the WWE Raw® World Tour at the end of July with stadium shows close to selling out in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
