The Boy’s Next ‘Project’

The charismatic Next Generation HV sextet is back yet again, this time with their next Sydney ‘project’ in the works.

Like all great and revolutionary ideas, the conception of The Next Gen HV Project came to light one arvo when the six mates gathered together for their Sunday ritual, knocking back a few beers and having a yarn after a long week. While it remains inconclusive who had the definitive ‘ah-ha’ moment, they unanimously agreed that collectively with all their fellow Sydney drinking buddies, they could create the ultimate Sunday session.

And where else but to hold this Sunday sesh at the boy’s favourite Sydney watering hole ‘The Projects’ at The Vic on the Park Hotel in Enmore? Having just ventured down the east coast of Oz on their third and most eventful ‘Caravan of Courage’ to date, it is time to change things up a bit – forget the table clothes, trestle tables and swanky wine glasses, The Next Gen HV Project will be casual arvo of cheeky fun and games (oh and drinking of course!).

How a Next Gen HV Sunday shindig works:

First and foremost, schedule into your diaries/calendars/on the back of a menu this really important date (because there’s only one!) ...Sunday 13th October from 11am-5pm at The Vic on the Park Hotel in Enmore. In true Next Gen HV spontaneously silly style, the boys will ease on down the road with their utes full of their latest and greatest #semsational offerings, serving you their pride and joy (the wine, not the ute) in ‘The Projects’ courtyard, an abandoned car park decorated by the creative talents of local Inner West graffiti and street artists.

‘The Projects’ space is no stranger to a Sunday session, having been the home to many a sold out music and dance event, the always buzzing Sunday ‘Curated Markets’, street art displays and hugely popular basketball comps.

And what’s that you ask... is there food?! The Next Gen HV Project will throw some mighty good grub into the mix to compliment the moreish Hunter Valley wines that you’ll enjoy. Apt to the day, the Vic’s signature Sunday spit roast and other menu items will be available for purchase and will surely put you in the right mood to groove on down to the live tunes that will be kicking off this chiller Sunday fest.

The Next Gen HV Project will be drink token event whereby a ‘glass and token package’ ($30) can be pre-booked and includes 6 drink tokens and an XL5 tasting glass for you to keep as a souvenir of surviving this epic Sunday sesh. Drink tokens will also be available for purchase on the day just in case you can’t get enough of these six Hunter Valley favourites.

To make sure you are the first to know when tokens go on sale and about anything else that’s going on with these hunky Hunter winemakers, sign up to the Next Generation Hunter Valley Newsletter, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
