BCS Strata Management's Tina Dsouza is strata’s rising star

BCS Strata Management’s Strata Manager Clemetina (Tina) D’Souza has been named as the Strata Community Australia (VIC) Rising Star Owners Corporation Manager at a gala event at Melbourne Park Function Centre on Friday, 23 August.

Tina works at the Hawthorn office and has been with BCS for three years working her way from strata assistant to strata manager.

A thrilled Tina said that she was surprised when her name was read out as the winner of the Rising Star award recipient against several other nominees.

"I was really surprised when my name was read out and certainly was not expecting it," said a clearly delighted Tina.

"Winning the award makes me feel that what I’m doing is right and gives me more confidence in my ability. It is a great boost. Now I have to ensure I keep up the standards I’ve set."

Tina also thanked her managers Regina McCann and Mary Garrow for their support and to BCS itself for providing her with educational and career opportunities.

BCS CEO Greg Haywood said that Tina exemplifies the enthusiastic, hard-working strata managers that BCS employs. "Tina is an inspiration to the new and experienced strata managers in our company and we are proud to say we have lots more rising stars in Victoria so watch this space."
