RCR International has recently acquired the Carinya and Make-a-Bracket brands from Carinya Manufacturing Company. RCR is best known for its MetalMate brand of aluminium and steel.

“Carinya is a terrific brand, widely known and respected in the marketplace, and we are incredibly excited to have the opportunity to continue that success, and develop it further in the future” said Mike Amiel, the CEO of RCR.  “It makes a lot of sense to be able to supply the MetalMate range of aluminium and steel together with the Carinya range of brackets. They are a very good fit” he said.

RCR is a family owned and operated business, supplying to hardware stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. Their motto is ‘outstanding service and brands’, and apply that principle to everything they do. “Carinya brackets and the patented Make-a-Bracket are made to exacting standards, and this will continue”, according to Mike. “In acquiring Carinya, ensuring continuity of production and quality control was an important consideration” said Mike.

The tradition behind MetalMate with a merchandising display mentality matches well, because Carinya and Make-a-Bracket ranges are also capable of being displayed very well. The opportunity for strong retail sales is therefore very high.

Carinya brackets come in a large variety of styles to suit many applications. Make-a-Bracket, patented in 2004 for its uniqueness can be shaped, bent, cut or curved to suit exactly the requirements of the consumer.
