Announcement posted by Miniature Aero Sports NSW 02 Oct 2013
If you want to miss all the hustle and bustle of the city then this is for you. It’s also a great day for families. Lots of entertainment is organised for Sunday that will keep the whole family happy. Flying displays will be taking place across the day, showing a range of different aircraft and manoeuvres. Have a go at flying using the flight simulator or take a look through the displays of aircraft on the ground, custom motorcycles, race boats, hot rods and custom cars. A presentation and display from Space Camp is especially for kids with space travel aspirations. The free jumping castle will keep other children entertained for hours.
The local Wilberforce Rural Fire Service is putting on a BBQ lunch with refreshments so they have thought of everything.
Robert Carpenter, President of Miniature Aero Sports NSW, said that the Vineyard field was expecting a great show to give families a different kind of day out this Sunday.
“The Air Show is a community event where we will also be introducing families to our sport of aviation. We will be demonstrating all types of aircraft including jets, military aircraft, aerobatic aircraft, helicopters, aero towing of gliders, trainer aircraft, and control line demonstrations, with the Space Camp and other presentations at the field,” said Mr Carpenter.
Come and enjoy the entertainment in fresh air and open spaces.
The event is free and parking is a gold coin.
