A calculator to provide an indicative cost of the insulated panel roof such as Bondor’s Solarspan or Ausdeck’s panel and posts for a patio or outdoor entertaining area has been developed at www.actionsheetmetal.com .

We understand that most people don’t get to plan their home improvements at work, so to help you get a handle on the cost of adding an insulated panel roof to your home we have created this simple calculator that will let you know an indicative cost for an insulated panel roof.

This calculator is the first release and over time will be refined and improved.  It is important to note that the calculator doesn’t yet provide an allowance for beams and the panel price is based on 50mm insulated panels. 

There are three major criteria for determining the thickness of the panel required. 

1. The distance that needs to be spanned. 
2. The number of enclosed sides to the area.  Most outdoor areas have a minimum of one enclosed side – being the house that the patio is being attached to. 
3. The wind rating of the area will impact the span.

Other additions include the fasteners; gutter, flashings and capping that complete the roof and delivery.  All of the items are variable and our staff will be happy to provide a complete quote if you fill in an enquiry form here or call us on 07 5564 8200.
