About Selling Director
Selling Director is a result of the Java server technology purchase from ActionPoint. The resulting thin-client, web-based application will allow consumers direct access to enterprise business services and provide a single view for individual consumers, thereby exploiting Chordiants Intelligent Customer Interaction Management (ICIM) platform.

Using Selling Director, individuals experience a dynamic dialogue that guides them to make selections based on the information they provide. This dynamic interaction reduces the likelihood that the customer will abandon the transaction before it has been completed. Intelligent recommendations and guidance are offered through user-friendly wizards or pop-up messages to help individuals make smart, accurate choices based on their unique situations and requirements. Selling Director automatically populates fields with information pulled from enterprise systems such as policy numbers, discount profiles or order history, providing users with an accurate and efficient interaction.

Chordiants technology pushes business logic down into the browser and onto the individuals desktop in the form of DHTML and Javascript, minimising round trips to the server. Individuals are informed instantly about choices and entries are validated in real time.
