GROSSI FLORENTINO TO PUT THE
BEST OF ITALY ON THE TABLE
Iconic Melbourne restaurant, Grossi Florentino will host 13 members of Grandi Marchi, with a dinner combining the finest of Italy on the plate and in the glass.
For the first time 13 of the 19 members of The Instituto Grandi Marchi are visiting Australia to promote their wines. To celebrate, Grossi Florentino is creating a four course dinner matched to 13 wines on Wednesday 20 November.
This is a unique opportunity for diners to meet such an esteemed group of winemakers to be a part of an exchange of ideas and to enjoy some of Italy’s finest wines. The wineries are: Antinori; Argiolas; Ca del Bosco; Carpenè Malvolti; Donnafugata; Masi; Mastroberardino; Michele Chiarlo; Pio Cesare; Rivera; Tasca d'Almerita; Umani Ronchi; Biondi Santi and Tenuta Greppo.
Owner and chef at Grossi Florentino, Guy Grossi is thrilled to be hosting the dinner. He said “Grossi Florentino has been the home of some of the best Italian food in Melbourne for decades. I am thrilled to host the iconic families of Italian wine, and am delighted that Instituto Grandi Marchi will be joining us to introduce themselves to the people of Melbourne – people who are known worldwide to love great food and excellent wine.”
