WHY:
BlueCross Springfield residents wanted to pay tribute to their fellow residents who had passed away with a memorial garden.
The garden has been funded by the local community and family members of those who have passed.
As a BlueCross innovation, the garden has been designed not only to pay tribute but also to provide a sensory ‘journey’ for residents, particularly those living with dementia.
All plants in the garden have been planted and grown by the residents.
