BlueCross Western Gardens celebrates ten year anniversary

BlueCross Western Gardens in Sunshine celebrated their ten year anniversary with residents, staff and members of the local community on Saturday 23 November.

This milestone was themed with a 10^th birthday party featuring farm animals, face painting, living pictures sessions, raffles, a birthday cake and residents’ choir performances.

The ten year anniversary provided a chance for everyone to have fun in a unique and positive way.

BlueCross Western Gardens Team Leader, Geysi Caceres-Barillas, said, ‘It was great to see all the residents, their families and friends celebrate our 10th birthday.

‘Working at BlueCross Western Gardens has been an awesome experience, I feel as though I am part of the residents’ extended family.’

Ms. Caceres-Barillas has been with BlueCross Western Gardens since they opened their doors ten years ago.

The past ten years have seen BlueCross Western Gardens develop a real family atmosphere amongst residents and staff.

‘Our residents keep talking about how much they loved the day and are already asking when we can have the next big event with our community,’ said Ms. Caceres-Barillas.

BlueCross Western Gardens is an aged care residence that embraces the culture and diversity of the western suburbs to provide excellent service to each individual.
