Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise Upgrades Vessel

Announcement posted by Gallipoli-2015 23 Dec 2013

Australian Geographic Society’s Official Expedition Partner* for Anzac Centenary travel has chartered AZAMARA Journey as its Gallipoli-2015 cruise ship.

This superb alternative vessel offers the exemplary quality, personal attention and boutique cruising experience discerning passengers desire.  Now embarking in Athens at the historic port of Piraeus, the Epic Cruise itinerary has also been enhanced.

One of the top 25 luxury cruise liners in its class globally, Azamara Journey represents a significant upgrade for passengers sailing with Gallipoli-2015 aboard the Epic Cruise.  One of Cruise Critics all time highest rated cruise ships, the vessel offers superior standard:

♦ Accommodation, including opulent luxury suites with full butler service,

Five star dining in two specialty restaurants, room service and a buffet,

On board facilities, such as a full size fitness centre and day spa,

Guest attendance with a high ratio of crew to passengers (1:1.8).

Although a relatively recent launch, Azamara Journey has been refitted in 2013 and thrown down the gauntlet on its 89% approval rating**.

Epic Cruise passengers will now embark in Greece and conclude their journey at Istanbul.  This minor change has provided the opportunity to include an additional day tour to world-renowned Ephesus plus one night in the Aegean port of Kusadasi at no extra cost.  The remaining itinerary is unchanged.

Further enhancements and special events are expected to be added to the Epic Cruise travel plan as its departure becomes imminent.

*Gallipoli-2015 is the only Anzac Centenary cruise endorsed by the Australian Geographic Society.

**Cruise Critic – aggregation of 355 passenger reviews.
