Announcement posted by Flick Anticimex 09 Jan 2014

Australia's original pest control company Flick Anticimex was last month recognised for its significant ongoing growth in the Australian marketplace, winning the coveted Long Term Successor Award at the annual Swedish Business in Australia Awards.

The Long Term Successor Award recognises an incumbent company that has had great long term success in terms of gained market share, sales/profit growth and raised the Swedish profile in Australia.

“We are very honoured and excited to have been awarded the Long Term Successor Award by the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce,” said Greg Wallace, Chief Financial Officer at Flick Anticimex.

“Flick has a long history as Australia’s original pest control company since 1918 and we continue to see steady growth, without compromising on quality or our service delivery.”

“We were acquired by Anticimex in June 2013 and are proud to be a part of Sweden’s largest pest control company.”

“Flick Anticimex looks forward to continued growth within both Australia and New Zealand, collaborating closely with our Swedish colleagues and introducing more Swedish products/services to the Australian marketplace.”

The Swedish Business in Australia Awards are presented annually by the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce. The Awards are run on a non-profit basis and provide recognition generally for Swedish related business activities in Australia and also for organisations that have helped to grow a positive profile for Swedish business in Australia.
