Elders Financial Planning has announced the appointment of Mr Kevin Mayne as Regional Manager North.

Elders Financial Planning Chief Executive Officer, Helen Lorigan said Mr Mayne will play a key role in expanding the dealer network and client base across the Northern Region, which consists of Queensland, the Northern Territory and the majority of New South Wales.

“Kevin offers deep experience and strong business acumen at senior leadership levels across financial planning, retail, commercial and corporate banking sectors, and is a perfect appointment to complement our talented team,” Ms Lorigan said.

“Elders Financial Planning has experienced significant growth over recent years and we look forward to that trend continuing, with our adviser network now numbering almost 80 nationally supporting clients spread across Australia, with a particular focus on rural and regional locations,” she said.

“We received interest from a number of outstanding candidates, and Kevin’s extensive knowledge combined with his proven track record of success made him the perfect selection for this critical senior role.”

Mr Mayne said he was excited at the opportunity to continue the growth of financial planning in the Northern Region and to support advisers within the Elders Financial Planning network and their clients.

“The timing is perfect to leverage the highly recognised and trusted iconic Elders brand and help Australians secure their financial future,” Mr Mayne said.

“Financial planning is incredibly complex and can be daunting for most Australians so it is more important than ever for people to work with a qualified financial planner to get the best advice available, and utilise strategies to gain the strongest investment returns for their circumstances whilst protecting assets. This will ensure Australian families continue to grow their wealth over time,” he said.

“With significant backing and resources, Elders Financial Planning is perfectly positioned to help Australians with their financial future and succession planning - and I am really pleased to be part of making that happen through my new role.”

Mr Mayne’s most recent roles were as Practice Development Manager and Acting State Manager QLD for Securitor - where he successfully worked with IFA financial planning practices to increase revenue by working with referral sources, optimising structure and financial planning technical skills. He has also previously held a range of senior Banking and Financial Planning roles with Westpac and AMP.

Established in 1995, Elders Financial Planning has advisers located in rural, regional and metropolitan locations across Australia who work with clients to understand their financial and lifestyle goals and develop tailored financial advice and long term strategies to suit.
