Global expansion plans on track with executive appointments
Perfectus (formerly known as Owlcentral), a leading provider of solutions for Operational Document Compliance, today announced that its global expansion plans are on track with the appointment of key management staff. These executives will service the Australasian, EMEA and US markets.
Richard Scott, Tom Bartley and Bob Toth join Tony Singleton to complete the Perfectus senior business development team.
Tony Singleton's role at Perfectus is Vice President, Sales, Australia and New Zealand. Tony brings over seven years of senior management experience and thirteen years in the banking sector to Perfectus' clients. Prior to joining Perfectus, Tony was Managing Director of Sybase, following their acquisition of New Era Networks Inc (NEON). In his role as Managing Director, Asia Pacific for New Era Networks Inc, Tony established the company's operations in Australia and its distribution channel in Japan.
Prior to joining NEON, Tony operated his own professional services practice specialising in IT consulting and management of global projects in the finance sector. He spent six years with Bankers Trust Australia and then headed the Treasury technology department of the State Bank of NSW.
Tony holds a bachelor of business majoring in banking and finance. He is a member of the Australian Computer Society and Senior Associate of the Australian Institute of Bankers.
Richard Scott is appointed as Vice President of EMEA. Richard is responsible for building the business and expanding the Perfectus channel within the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Richard comes to Perfectus from Venetica, an enterprise content management provider recently acquired by IBM, where he held the position of Vice President of International Sales. Prior to Venetica, Richard served as Vice President of Technology at PeopleDOC and Hummingbird Ltd.
Tom Bartley joins Perfectus as Vice President of US Sales and Marketing. In this position, Tom will bring his 25+ years of experience in the document management sector to build the U.S. sales and services organisation for Perfectus. Tom is also charged with broadening the Perfectus partner channel, including integration partners, resellers and the implementation channel. Tom most recently served as Vice President of Encompass Sales and Marketing at Thomson Elite where he was responsible for one of the most successful product launches in Elite's history. Prior to Thomson Elite, Tom was Vice President of Strategic Technologies for Hummingbird Ltd.
Bob Toth joins Perfectus as US Director of Business and Technology Services to develop best practices for implementation, training and document process analysis for the company's contract and document compliance solutions. Bob will also be responsible for building a well trained and successful partner delivery channel. Bob was formerly the Director of Technology at Thomson Elite.
