With the option of either Intel or AMD processors, the Aspire Z delivers powerful performance for everyday tasks, while the 10-point multi-touch touchscreen and innovative Hand Gesture controls make it easy to navigate. The All-in-One design means the Aspire Z's powerful hardware is integrated into its 23-inch Full HD IPS display, eliminating cables and reducing power consumption. For a more traditional computing experience, the Aspire Z3 is also available without touch capabilities while still providing the same performance as its touch brethren.
Rich True-to-Life Sound
Designed by renowned audio experts Harman Kardon, the stereo speaker system provides accurate and lively sound quality in a compact package. With the speakers integrated into the lower bezel of its body, the Aspire Z offers best-in-class sound quality without compromising its sleek and compact design.
It also utilises Dolby Home Theatre v4 cinematic surround sound which intelligently creates a surround sound effect from the two front-facing speakers, and works behind-the-scenes to tweak and improve all audio in music and movies played through the PC.
Touch Free Hand Gesture Control
Acer's pioneering Hand Gesture control uses the Aspire Z webcam and can be used to navigate without touching the keyboard or mouse. The Windows 8 Desktop mode can be controlled with Hand Gesture from up to 150cm away from the screen, while the Windows 8 Modern interface can be navigated from up to 50cm away.
The Acer Aspire Z3 range includes a number of touchscreen models with a full-touch display, giving users more options for interacting with their PC. Optimised for the Windows 8 Modern interface; the Aspire Z3 has 10-point multi-touch for compatibility with all Windows 8 apps.
Superior Visuals and Optimised Video Chat
The adjustable HD webcam can tilt by up to 20 degrees, accommodating different setup scenarios for making video calls or capturing pictures with excellent quality. Further, the built-in tilting stand can be adjusted to lie low on a table (up to 20 degrees), or stand upright for regular desk use.
The Aspire Z range has a 23-inch Full HD IPS display with a LED backlight for a consistently clear and detailed picture. IPS technology means extremely wide viewing angles, giving it the versatility to be used around the home, in the office, kitchen or living room.
Powerful Computing, Convenient Accessibility
The Acer Aspire Z range is available in a variety of configurations including both Intel and AMD processors. When it comes to graphics capabilities, customers can choose between the Intel HD Graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT740M for added grunt. All Acer Aspire Z PCs come with the Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system.
All models also have a prominent front cluster of ports, including USB 3.0, audio, and SD memory card input. Despite its slim design, the Acer Aspire Z series includes a built-in optical drive and storage with up to 2TB capacity. All models also include the Acer Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combination for added versatility.
