IP Payments awarded silver at the 2014 PYMNTS Innovator Awards

Announcement posted by IP Payments 27 Mar 2014

SYDNEY, Australia – 21 March 2014: IP Payments, an innovator in corporate payments and PCI compliance solutions, has announced that it has been awarded silver at the 2014 PYMNTS Innovator Awards, held on the campus of Harvard University, Boston MA. Recognised in the ‘Most Invisible Player’ category, the award acknowledges the provider’s secure cloud-based multi-currency, multi-channel payment solution, IP PCI.

Mark Lewis, Managing Director of IP Payments has said of the award, “I feel honoured that IP Payments has been recognised with silver at these prestigious awards for the subtle but important role we play with our clients. To receive this award in the company of some of the world’s leading technology innovators is truly humbling.”

With the technology powering some of the world’s largest and most profitable companies, IP Payments is very much an ‘invisible player’ to the end consumer. The IP PCI solution has evolved to become a flexible yet robust and secure platform that can be scaled to suit any enterprise. Pre-defined modules for high-volume payments allow IP Payments to rapidly deploy a customised solution to market with reduced lead times and minimal impact to the customer.

The IP PCI solution came about from the need for standards within the payments industry, which later developed into PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). IP PCI provides customers with various payment options across multiple devices, the ability to migrate their customer credit card databases into IP Payments’ secure vault, while enabling the management of this data via an intuitive administration system.

The Innovator Awards 2014 is considered as the most prestigious recognition awards in the payments industry. IP Payments were nominated as a finalist in the ‘Most Invisible Player’ category alongside organisations including Paydiant, Mitek, Curaxian and Early Warning. Other category winners included PayPal, Bitcoin and Google Wallet.
