Sekisui House build community at The Hermitage with Cinema in the Park

NEIGHBOURS COME TOGETHER FOR A MOVIE UNDER THE MOONLIGHT

1 APRIL 2014:  Residents at The Hermitage will enjoy a moonlight screening of beloved family comedy sequel ‘Despicable Me 2’ on Sunday, 13 April.

Held in the open park outside the sales and information centre, the event kicks off at 6.30pm.

Neighbours can enjoy wood-fired pizzas, popcorn, fairy floss, and a variety of beverages as they relax on their picnic rugs and beanbags, in the latest of a long line of community-building events that residents are accustomed to.

Developer Sekisui House prides itself on building close-knit communities that residents are proud to be a part of.

“Building communities is just as much our passion as building houses,” Sekisui House NSW marketing manager Moonmoon Sahu says.

“Events like this are key, as they give the community the opportunity to socialise with one another and build those neighbourly relationships that make the difference between living somewhere and making it your home.”

Sekisui House is no stranger to these events, often holding similar occasions to help build communities and relationships at each of their residences.

Fellow Sekisui House developments The Waterfront and The Address at Wentworth Point enjoyed a taste of Europe at multicultural festival EuroFesta on Sunday 30 March, and residents of The Hermitage recently celebrated Australia Day with a backyard cricket event held by Sekisui House complete with team gear, trophies, and a barbecue. The Waterfront also plays host to Friday Night Barbecues – weekly events that bring the community together.

“There is a real community spirit here,” says The Hermitage resident Shane Borg.

“This is the type of neighbourhood where people give you a helping hand and invite you around for a barbecue. Events like this really help create that community feel.”

The Hermitage Sales Centre, located at Fairbank Drive (off Camden Valley Way), Gledswood Hills, is open every day from 10.00 am to 5.00pm. For more information please call: 1800 113 943 or visit www.thehermitagesydney.com.au.
