Home security is top of mind for Western Australian residents, according to Masters

The Masters Home Improvement survey revealed that 42 per cent of Western Australian residents plan to improve their home security before Easter. 

This is the highest number in the country, with 6.9 per cent in New South Wales, 5.5 per cent in Victoria and 5.6 per cent in Queensland rating home security as a DIY project.

“Walk around your home and do a basic check. Do all doors and windows have working locks and do you have at least one sensor light? 

“Burglars are looking for the easiest targets, so you want to put as many hurdles between a potential burglar and your home. Basic things like locks and lights are easy and inexpensive.”
