DC launches PANassist - a remote install service designed for new or existing Palo Alto Networks partners
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Sydney, Australia, 9 April 2014 - Distribution Central Pty LimitedÒ, a leader in technology distribution and channel services, has launched a new remote install service for Palo Alto Networks partners delivered through ChannelSupport.

PANassist is a remote install service that is suitable for new Palo Alto Networks partners who are still developing their own in-house expertise, or existing Palo Alto Networks partners that may require extra support.

It is delivered through Distribution Central’s ChannelSupport, a dedicated Technical Assistance Centre manned by expert certified technical engineers. Through PANassist, ChannelSupport’s engineers can provide two or three day remote install assistance to partners who may still be up-skilling or require extra support.

“Since signing on as a Palo Alto Networks distributor last year, we have been recruiting new partners who need some additional support as they go through the certification process, so we decided to launch this new service in response to our partners’ needs,” said Scott Frew, Executive Chairman, Distribution Central.

“We have excellent technical resources within ChannelSupport, our Palo Alto Networks TAC that is already delivering Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support, so we are simply extending our support to cover installation as well.”

Palo Alto Networks partners can contact their local Firewall Systems account manager for more information about PANassist and how to order it, or visit the Firewall Systems website for more information on support options for Palo Alto Networks.

Distribution Central has grown from $22 million in FY2007 to more than $250 million in FY2013 in revenue. The company currently employs 120 staff across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and was named the 2011 BRW ANZ Successful Private Business of the Year (turnover greater than $100 million). Its senior management has been recognised through the ARN Hall of Fame (2012 and 2013), Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2009) and CEO Magazine Executive of the Year IT Executive of the Year (2013).
