Ski Rider Hotel, an all inclusive hotel close to Perisher Ski Resort, is eagerly awaiting the resort’s expansion of the beautiful Guthega area with their new Freedom Quad Chairlift for the 2014 winter skiing and snowboarding season.
The Guthega area at Perisher Ski Resort is one of the most picturesque areas on the whole mountain. The Freedom Quad Chairlift will increase the current lift capacity in the Guthega area by a staggering 46%. This will allow 2,400 skiers and snowboarders to be transported up the mountain per hour. The new chairlift will open up skiing on Hanky Panky and the former lift line area of the Cow Pastures runs. Also, the Freedom Quad Chairlift will allow skiers and snowboarders to decrease their wait time and spend more of their time taming some of the wide open runs and challenging terrain serviced by this chairlift. From the novice rider to experts, all patrons will reap the benefits of this new chairlift.
The new chairlift, which was in the planning stages for over four years, is equipped with entry gates which allow you to track your vertical metres on the Perisher Dashboard. Many skiers and snowboarders will find the amount of vertical metres covered in a single day to be astounding.
