Kiandra IT is pleased to announce it has launched a Graduate Program in conjunction with Swinburne University of Technology.

The program will see Kiandra work with Swinburne University to offer graduate positions to talented and passionate software development students with outstanding technical capability.

Graduates will join a 12-month program aimed to develop both functional and technical skills. The program exposes graduates to all divisions of Kiandra’s Software Development arm, providing them with a large breadth of experience.

“We’re incredibly excited to launch this new program and are pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to fast-track the learning and development of the graduates,” said Martin Cooperwaite, Director – Software Development.

"The graduates will be given a variety of challenges and accountabilities and we expect great results both for the business and for the individuals,” he said.

According to Professor John Grundy Dean, School of Software and Electrical Engineering, Swinburne University of Technology, this new graduate program will give students a head start in the industry.

“This graduate program will allow our graduates to make headway in a highly competitive industry. The program will not only hone technical skills but will provide valuable experience and accelerate their career progression,” Professor Grundy said.

“Swinburne’s close industry ties have been a major part of the university’s initiatives and the Kiandra IT Graduate Program is another opportunity to push forward the experience so students can develop their own connections with industry.”

Applications for 2014 have now closed. The 2015 Graduate Program intake will open in December 2014, with up to 10 positions being awarded to successful Swinburne University graduates.
