Living in a Lifestyle Park - Cost Effective, Comfortable and Secure Living

Announcement posted by Connolly Hospitality 29 May 2014

More and more baby boomers and retirees are selling up the family home and moving into lifestyle/holiday parks. Offering community centred, maintenance free living living, today's lifestyle/holiday parks are a popular and cost effective choice.
Open plan living, spacious bedrooms, designer kitchens and bathrooms, ducted heating and landscaped gardens: all the features one expects to see in a modern residential estate. Today's astute retirees however, are enjoying all these modern creature comforts for a fraction of the cost - all thanks to today's impressive new breed of holiday parks and lifestyle villages.

One such park is the Village Lifestyle and Leisure Park in Traralgon Victoria; some 160 kilometres east of Melbourne in the Latrobe Valley. It's residents enjoy all the latest mod cons as well as large blocks, landscaped gardens and a brand new community recreational centre which includes an indoor heated pool, gym, communal kitchen, lounge and dining and an outdoor BBQ/entertainment area.

Park resident Bob Taylor comments "Inara and I have lived at Village for the last three years and couldn't be happier - we have a great home with easy access to everything we need. It suits us because we are only a few kilometres to the large town centre, with the fast train or an easy drive to Melbourne. We have the added bonus of the great community recreation centre which means we always have a place to entertain friends and catch up with our neighbours".

Management at the Village Lifestyle and Leisure Park have completed a host of major improvement works over the last five years. Operations manager Tamara Noll said "The main attraction to living in parks like ours is the convenience - it's for this reason that we consider constant improvement to be a vital element to what we offer".

Estate agent Collin Gooding of First National Latrobe in Traralgon handles the sales of Village Lifestyle and Leisure Park's homes. He comments "We've seen a real spike in interest recently - once people see the quality of homes on offer, the additional facilities thrown in, and the final price tag attached to all this, they're usually very impressed".
