MYOB extends SME cloud accounting solutions with AccountRight Premier

Australia’s leading accounting software provider MYOB has announced AccountRight Premier is now available in the cloud. It’s a powerful and flexible online accounting solution for mid-sized, established businesses with complex accounting needs including inventory and payroll management.
 
Formerly available as a desktop-only solution, AccountRight Premier provides the best of both worlds, allowing business owners and managers to work offline, online or both. This enables increased collaboration across their business and with their accountant or bookkeeper, creating a more value-rich partnership.
  
MYOB General Manager, Business Division, James Scollay says this is a highly anticipated release as it extends the technology company’s trusted range of cloud-based business solutions.

To help make compliance easier with the Australian Taxation Office, software updates can be installed in less than 30 seconds. The payroll function now includes the ability to pay super contributions directly from the solution, and will with plans to include SuperStream compliance as and when required by the ATO.
 
In addition, AccountRight Premier includes the ability to link bank accounts securely to the solution where bank transactions are automatically imported and coded into the software – a feature that can save 10 hours a month on average.
 
"The beauty of an online platform is its ability to allow us to be more responsive – we are continually listening to feedback and looking at how we can integrate greater usability and functionality into each release. For example there is a ‘leave overuse’ warning for when employees have reached the limit of their paid leave - a popular feature request from our partners and clients.

A free mobile app enables Premier clients to invoice and check debtors from their mobile, take cash and cheque payments and automatically update the company’s cash position on-the-go. Clients can also take credit card payments via the app by adding MYOB PayDirect.
 
The price for AccountRight Premier is $99 inc GST per month, with a 12-month minimum term.
