Announcement posted by Keturah 04 Jun 2014

The Day Spa will also be inducted into the prestigious ABIA Honor Roll for ‘Day Spa of the Year’

Perth’s Keturah Day Spa Group has been announced as a finalist in three awards categories at the 2014Australian Beauty Industry (ABIA) Awards: ‘Best Marketing’ (for the third year running), ‘Best Customer Care’ and ‘Best In-Salon Training’.

Keturah, which has four day spa locations across Perth – in Highgate, Fremantle, Carine Glades and Nedlands – will also be inducted into the prestigious ABIA Honor Roll for ‘Day Spa of the Year’ this year, having won the award in this category in 2012 and 2013. The ABIA Honor Roll is reserved for those who have won an ABIA Award in a particular category twice before.

Keturah won also Best Marketing in 2012 and was a finalist for the same accolade in 2013. They are hoping to be triumphant again this year when the awards take place on Sunday 24th August at the Dockside Pavillion in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, which would make them eligible to be listed on the ABIA Honor Roll for Best Marketing next year.

Keturah Day Spa Group Director, Kim Stergiou, commented: “Becoming a finalist for three ABIA Awards this year and an induction onto the ABIA Honor Roll for Day Spa of the Year is a fantastic result for us. The ABIA Awards are a national benchmark in our industry, so to be recognised as leaders in so many categories is a testament to our business, our staff and the service we provide to our clients.”

Mr Stergiou continued: “We are incredibly proud of all of our staff for their efforts in providing the best experience possible for both their clients and their colleagues – it’s thanks to them we have succeeded as finalists in the Best Customer Care and Best In-Salon Training Categories in particular.”

Marketing is a high priority for Keturah and is an area in which they invest significantly, helping them clinch the Best Marketing nomination again this year. Keturah’s marketing strategy over the past year has included an integrated campaign through Perth’s leading marketing agencies. This included a strategic search marketing campaign; a revamp of the company website; TVCs on Channel One, Ten & Eleven; radio ads on 92.9, Mix 94.5, Nova 106.9 and 96FM; print advertising; social and online marketing; monthly e-newsletters and in-store promotions among other initiatives.

The salon was chosen as a finalist in each category by a panel of fourteen industry experts who considered over 180 entries from all over Australia. The judging panel includes beauty industry, business, media and PR experts from all corners of the nation.
