Demand for business process management software drives growth
Staffware announces several new appointments and promotions, signifying its rapid expansion in the Asia Pacific region. In line with the burgeoning demand for BPM (business process management), the new appointments will enhance Staffware's expertise and experience in the marketing, business development and services sectors of the business.

Angela Gregory, Asia Pacific Managing Director of Staffware said, "In a market where many vendors are struggling, Staffware is very pleased to announce this expansion of its regional operations. These new appointments strengthen both our regional and local operations and enable us to consolidate our position as market leader in the business process management market."

Summary of new appointments

* Mike Cawsey has been appointed Regional Sales and Marketing Director, Asia Pacific. Mike previously held the position of Regional Sales Director, Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for the overall strategic development of Staffware's regional sales and marketing activities.

* Supporting Mike in his new role will be Tim Rubin, who has been promoted to the position of Product Marketing Manager. Tim will be responsible for Staffware product and competitive information and will help promote the Staffware application frameworks in conjunction with local partners and sales teams.

* Ken Cameron has been appointed as Business Development Manager for South and SE Asia, based in Singapore. Mr Cameron will assume the responsibility of developing and implementing business strategies to secure new business in the Indian subcontinent and in the ASEAN countries.

* Tim Parker has been appointed Business Development Manager to the Financial Services sector in Sydney. He will focus on developing company relationships with current and prospective clients. Previously, Mr Parker held the position of Client Executive with both CSC and IBM.

* Peter Tolhurst joins Staffware's Victorian office as Business Development Manager to the Financial Services Sector to further strengthen the sales team. Mr Tolhurst joins Staffware with extensive experience in the Victorian Market having worked for several major software vendors in a senior capacity.

* Brain Cahalane, who joined Staffware in August, will be responsible for Sales and Marketing support based in Staffware's Sydney office.

* Man Hui has joined the Hong Kong team as Principal Consultant. Man brings with him over 15 years experience in IT and has worked for several major software vendors in the Greater China region.

* Other recent appointments include Neal Allen as Principal Consultant, Tony Nudd as Senior Consultant and Benjamin Wheeler and Richard Lowe as consultants in the Australian Professional Services Group.
