Online Presence Not Enough

Announcement posted by Zeald 19 Jun 2014

By focusing on the user experience, and Italy Mask’s point of difference, Zeald increased their conversion rate by 148% with a month!

The number of New Zealand small-medium businesses who are operating a website for their business is increasing. According to the MYOB Business Monitor Digital Nation Report; 41% of SME’s operate a business website, up from 34% in March last year.

While it is great to see an increasing number of Kiwi SME’s getting online, website experts, Zeald, believe a mere online presence is not enough. The focus needs to be on the results, the enquiries, the leads, and the sales your website is providing your business.

Zeald client, Allan from Italy Masks was having trouble penetrating the market and gaining market share. The market was flooded with low quality products; Italy Masks could not compete on price but they knew their product was of much higher quality.

By focusing on the user experience, and Italy Mask’s point of difference, Zeald increased their conversion rate by 148% with a month! To read the full case study click here>>

Today’s consumer is evolving. They are digitally savvy, with internet capable mobile devices. You can’t just “set and forget” your website, expecting it to do all the work for you. Your marketing needs to adapt to today’s consumer as the storefront is no longer the only door through which a customer can enter and exit your business.

A website needs to be the hub of your digital strategy; it needs to be constantly updated and improved for your product and your customer. Too many times we have seen people make the mistake of not allowing budget to improve their website once it is launched.
