The Patagonian Experience

Announcement posted by Viva Expeditions South America Tours 19 Jun 2014

Viva Expedition’s aim is to make their journeys as fully inclusive as possible while still giving their clients freedom to explore at leisure.

Viva Expeditions have two fabulous tours to Patagonia in the southern regions of Argentina and Chile and the first is this epic journey from Santiago, the vibrant cosmopolitan capital of Chile, south through the heart of the wine region and through the natural splendour of the lush green forest and sparkling blue lakes of the Chilean and Argentinean lakes districts. Arriving into the remote Patagonian expanse travellers explore the southern ice fields, breath-taking glaciers and the magnificent snow-capped Andes mountain range before arriving in Ushuaia, the most southerly city in the world. This is a voyage of intense natural beauty and a chance to be at one with the great outdoors. For a tour of overwhelming natural beauty, this second tour is also a chance to explore remote Southern Patagonia on a 13 Day adventure and to discover some of South America’s finest national parks, including the Los Glaciers National Park, home to some of the world’s most stunning ice formations, Torres Del Paine National Park famous for its granite pillars, lakes and mountains and Tierra Del Fuego National Park, located in one of the most Southern regions of the world. These are both small group expeditions and the maximum group size on all of Viva Expedition’s group journeys is 16.  Not only does this minimise the impact on the environment but it also allows experiences to be of a more intimate nature without the fuss that comes with travelling in large groups.  This means that people will be able to share their experiences with a small group of like- minded people while also having time to pursue individual interests throughout the trip.

Throughout all of their tours Viva Expedition’s number one priority is their clients’ comfort and enjoyment.  They use only good tourist class hotels and guest houses that are centrally located with ensuite bathroom facilities and great guest services.

Viva Expedition’s aim is to make their journeys as fully inclusive as possible while still giving their clients freedom to explore at leisure or to decide for themselves how best to appreciate the wonderful regions through which they travel.  At Viva Expeditions they believe that it’s the little things that make a journey special.  Providing delicious cuisine and fine wines from the region, clean filtered drinking water on board their Overland Expedition vehicles, hiring expert local guides and going the extra mile to service their clients are all examples of the little things they do that make a big difference.
