Auckland enables four additional languages

Auckland International Airport (AKL) have expanded their RapidFIDS language support program to include an additional four languages bringing them to nine languages intelligently translated and displayed throughout the airport.
After seeing improvements in their passenger experience after enabling their Flight Information Display System (FIDS) to display Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Malaysian, Auckland Airport elected to add four additional languages including: Hindi, Tongan, Samoan and Latin American Spanish.
As with the original four languages, RapidFIDS implements a set of intelligent translation parameters to determine the most appropriate flights to translate into any given language reducing the total number of translations displayed at anyone time to only those that are relevant.
