Corel Corporation today unveiled the new version of its award-winning Tablet PC application, Corel Grafigo 2. Designed specifically for the Tablet PC, Corel Grafigo 2 improves mobile productivity with enhanced tools for content creation, annotation and collaboration through an easy-to-use interface. With new intuitive drawing assistance tools, integrated document management features and leading-edge collaboration technology, Corel Grafigo 2 is an ideal companion for mobile professionals

New features in Corel Grafigo 2 are designed around three key mobile workflow concepts Create, Annotate and Collaborate.
CREATE
1. Enhanced Drawing Assistance Create flow charts and capture white boarding sessions using powerful drawing aids such as line straightening; alignment of line segments, end points, and corners; auto-closing of geometrical and non-geometrical shapes; symmetry recognition; and snapping. These new features recognise the shapes users draw and convert them into perfect forms. In addition to the hand-drawn shapes recognised in version 1.0, Corel Grafigo now recognises arrows and trapezoids.
2. Enhanced Library Easily access reusable content from underlays, Onionskins, text frames and ink strokes for quick insertion.
3. New Grab-it Tool Grab content from any application or Web page and bring it directly into Corel Grafigo 2 with only a few taps of the pen.
ANNOTATE
1. Enhanced Underlays Import multi-page documents from any program that supports standard Windows print functionality on your Tablet PC. Automatically converted to underlays, these documents can be moved, resized and deleted with ease. As users bring in pages as separate underlays, Corel Grafigo 2 automatically adds them as views to the View Manager toolbar for easy access.
2. Enhanced Onionskins Use transparent overlays for annotating or marking up existing files without altering the original. Corel Grafigo 2 lets users show, hide, lock and unlock Onionskins and uses multiple colored Onionskins ensuring that different authors can be easily identified in a collaboration session.
3. New Navigator View and navigate within documents more easily. Use the Navigator to pan to any area of the workspace with a tap of the pen.
COLLABORATE
1. Enhanced Real-time collaboration Through Microsoft Peer-to-Peer technology or Microsoft NetMeeting, Corel Grafigo 2 lets users collaborate with colleagues over the Internet in real time. Changes made by one user can be seen simultaneously by all members of the collaboration session, saving time during group projects, brainstorming sessions or whenever input is required from multiple sources.
2. New Direct E-mail Output After reviewing and annotating files and documents, use e-mail to send documents directly from the application, creating a highly efficient communication workflow.
3. New Auto Slide Show Save views as a slide show and open them in an SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) viewer. For multi-page documents, Corel Grafigo 2 also provides navigation controls that let users navigate through the views theyve defined.
Written in the C# programming language that takes advantage of Microsofts .NET capabilities, this award-winning software was one of the first applications developed specifically for the Tablet PC platform.
