Mellor Olsson Lawyers appointed to Council Solutions legal service panel

Mellor Olsson Lawyers is set to provide advice and support to some of the largest local government bodies across Adelaide’s metropolitan area following its appointment to a legal services panel established through Council Solutions.

As a regional authority established under the Local Government Act, Council Solutions manages contracts valued at more than $50 million to ensure public money is spent wisely and community prosperity is achieved.

Mellor Olsson Partner, Mr Tim Mellor, welcomed the announcement as a panel member under a contract arrangement that will operate for a 5 year term.

“In many ways this is a culmination of the Mellor Olsson team working with numerous local government clients, on often complex and difficult matters, over many decades,” Mr Mellor said.

“Mellor Olsson has a long and successful history as a prominent legal services provider to many SA regional and metropolitan local councils, as well as the Local Government Association, and we now look forward to working with these additional councils, serviced through this new arrangement,” he said.
