Regional firm achieve Xero’s Platinum Partner status in record time
Ballarat firm with over 500 clients using Xero

Mid-size firm Mulcahy and Co. are the first independent partner to achieve Xero’s Platinum Partner status, which is awarded to a practice with more than 500 clients using Xero.
The team at Mulcahy and Co. reached this incredible milestone in under 15 months. Looking for a better way of doing business, the firm moved to online accounting software provider Xero in March 2013, and converted over 100 clients on to Xero by July the same year.
“The accounting industry has historically been a complacent industry reluctant to change” said Chris Mulcahy, Partner at Mulcahy and Co. “We believe the industry is going through a transformation and so we want to get on the front foot of technology, which is why we chose to use Xero.
When new clients join us, we show them the benefits of Xero and the efficiencies that can be gained. It doesn't matter what size or type of business they are, Xero is easy to use and saves time and money. Once we show clients how Xero can help them, they don't take much convincing to make the change"” he added.
