Adstream establishes presence in mainland China

Announcement posted by Access Public Relations 11 Jul 2014

Adstream, the world’s leading broadcast distribution business, has established its mainland China base in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Adstream Asia is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and established its Hong Kong office in 2012.

Adstream Asia CEO Ms Christine Sterk said “We are delighted to have established our operation in Shenzhen with its vibrant economy. We have developed excellent partnerships and can deliver TVC’s to China’s Broadcasters within 24 hours, very efficiently and reliably. Many of our international agency customers have been asking us to launch into China, so now we can meet their needs swiftly.”

China is a complex TVC distribution market where ad agencies widely rely on tape and thumbnail delivery to Broadcasters. Adstream is looking to work with Broadcasters in China as it has done in many markets around the world, towards speeding this process, and bringing transparency and real time reporting. “In the meantime it’s important to satisfy our customers’ requirements, both international and local” said Ms Sterk.

Adstream was founded in Australia in 2001, followed by its UK launch, and now serves over 5,000 advertising customers from 39 offices around the world, including operations in Hong Kong; Singapore; Bombay; Vietnam and of course Kuala Lumpur.
