“Little Scholars Maths” is an interactive calculator game with an intergalactic twist.

Help the two budding Little Scholars Rik and Rox as they try to fly their Rocket and land on the moon. The game has 3 levels of difficulty and the player progresses by answering increasingly challenging sums and gets rewarded with time bonuses and answer streaks for answering multiple question correctly.

Encouraging interactive play and learning between parent and child the player also earns stars that unlock facts in the scorecard about famous historical scientists, physicists and mathematicians. Learn together about 9 famous scholars including Aristotle, Einstein, Agnesi and of course Rik & Roxs’ hero Goddard, the inventor of Space Rockets.

 

Little Golden Apps is a partnership between Steve Santer, award winning digital creative and Dave Malcolm a dad and marketer with over 15 years experience in video games, technology and digital entertainment publishing.

 

All parents are aware their children are spending more and more time with digital media every day and with the recommended recreational screen time being two hours[1] there is a real need for quality over quantity.

Playtime while being emotionally rewarding and fun also provides parents the opportunity to proactively influence their children’s cognitive and social development. 

 

“We started looking at developing kids educational apps partly out of frustration of not being able to find apps that I felt comfortable giving to my son to play” says Dave, one half of the Sydney based outfit.

“I don’t want to feel guilty or concerned about age appropriateness or in App advertising when I hand over my phone….”

 

Addressing this, Little Golden Apps is dedicated to creating a collection of fun educational apps for children from 2-13 years old. The learning tools are ad-free and do not offer in-app purchases; giving you peace of mind while keeping little minds focused on learning and having fun.
