Equant takes top honours at Telecom Asia Awards 2003

EQUANT TAKES TOP HONOURS AT TELECOM ASIA AWARDS 2003
Equant (NYSE: ENT) (Euronext Paris: EQU), a recognized industry leader in global IP and data service for multinational businesses, is the recipient of this years Best Wholesale or Managed Services Provider Award at the Telecom Asia Awards 2003. Equant beat four others AT&T, Infonet, Singapore Telecom and Reach to win the prestigious title.
Now in its sixth year, the awards program featured for the first time an industry panel led by industry analysts at Pyramid Research. The judges made their selections based on a combination of financial, operational and corporate governance criteria using a template created by Pyramid Research. The judging methodology was a combination of quantitative metrics comparing revenue and expenditure performance and qualitative assessments of market leadership and levels of innovation.
