Why? Masterflex pumps facilitate aseptic and sterile processes because they have no check valves, seals, diaphragms or other components in the fluid stream. Fluid does not come into contact with the pump itself, only inside sterile tubing. These peristaltic pumps employ clean pump technology to provide a totally closed system for contamination-free aseptic/sterile flow.

Plus, a wide range of tubing material options are available. The pump itself offers a very gentle method of pumping that does not damage shear-sensitive products, such as cell cultures.
