Zap Technology to distribute Informatica in Queensland for MIP

Announcement posted by MIP 18 Aug 2001

Data warehousing and data mining specialist Management Information Principles (MIP) has appointed business intelligence company Zap Technology (ZAPTECH) as a reseller for Informaticas leading suite of integrated business analytic software in Queensland. MIP is the master distributor for Informatica in Australia and New Zealand.

Our partnership with ZAPTECH will greatly enhance our ability to respond to Queensland customer needs with highly effective local resources. Strengthening Informatica resources in Queensland will help both companies collaboratively deliver and support powerful solutions for leading enterprises throughout the region, MIP General Manager, Informatica Division, Brian Brett said.

ZAPTECHs Managing Director Matthew Lingard said Informatica would enable Queensland government departments and major corporations to effectively and efficiently extract and transform data housed in their information systems.

Many major organisations that have implemented large information systems like SAP in Queensland recently are now seeking ways to leverage the latent data held within those systems. This is an opportune time to offer the power of Informatica as the core tool to help them maximise their data resources, Mr Lingard said.
