WatchGuard® Technologies, a leader in multi-function firewalls, today announced its XTM 1525 is one of the top-rated Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) based on a real-world comparative analysis by NSS Labs <http://www.nsslabs.com> . Designed for the enterprise, the XTM 1525 delivers a leading combination of security effectiveness and value in terms of both the cost per protected Mbps and security effectiveness.

“Understanding the real-world performance and security effectiveness of next generation firewalls is vital for organisations that are looking to invest in these technologies to protect their business,” said Vikram Phatak, chief executive officer at NSS Labs. “The WatchGuard 1525 maintained consistent evasion and protection capability throughout the testing process.”
