Rockhampton Airport upgraded to rapidsuite6

Rockhampton Airport's (ROK) upgrade to rapidsuite6 - our latest evolution in airport integrated information systems - was wrapped up successfully last week.

Onsite works commenced on Monday, 22 September with the installation of upgraded hardware, the training of airport and airline staff and the migration of data from their existing system to the new rapidsuite6 system. 

Richard Allen, Intersystems Services Manager Asia Pacific commented, 'the team did a great job a traversing a few site specific issues that arose and we successfully cutover to the new rapidsuite6 system as scheduled on Wednesday evening."

"Our team provided onsite cutover support through Friday to directly handle any issues that may have arisen, however, we're happy to say that there were no issues."

As part of a five year agreement to provide remote support and maintenance, the team will continue to monitor and maintain the new system remotely from our Brisbane support centre ensuring it is kept in top-notch condition. 

Andrew Gibson, Rockhampton Airport Facilities Coordinator commented on the upgraded system, "the airline users are finding the upgraded version much easier to use."
