Release:
The Droppi is an automatic entertainment dispenser for your pet just launched on Kickstarter in the first week of October 2014.
The Droppi can be set to play back a pre-recorded jingle or your very own message for your pet to let it know that the tray is ready to dispense its contents. The time delay mechanism is great for when you are leaving the house for a short trip to the store or even a full day of work.
There are numerous products in the marketplace that allow the dispensing of kibbles but The Droppi aims to change that to allow you to dispense a whole range of different treats such as rope toys, chew toys, bones, pig ears, rawhide, dentastix etc.
It runs on two AA batteries and mounts on the wall out of reach of enthusiastic pets. With additional magnetic backings, you can change up the location of The Droppi daily to keep things interesting.
The campaign is seeking support to reach its funding goal to kick off manufacturing of The Droppi. The funds of the campaign will be used to pay for tooling, production, and the logistics to bring it to your front door.
Kickstarter provides a way for companies low on capital but having actionable designs and prototypes to bring them to production. If the Kickstarter campaign’s $40,000 goal is met, the Droppies will start arriving in April 2015.
