UGC doubles their FIDS system

Having secured the title of best airport in the CIS states, Urgench International Airport (UGC) is more than doubling their current FIDS system as part of their departures lounge extension scheduled for completion by late 2014.

"In addition to adding several additional Flight Information Display Screens (FIDS), Urgench will be adding a 2x2 video wall; it will be a real feature in the space," commented Rudy Jimenez, Intersystems Vice President of Operations.

He added, "we'll be providing the hardware and services work needed to facilitate the expansion commencing October this year with an anticipated completion within the year; it will be a quick turnaround, but our team is more than capable of handling it."
