Australian Water Management Review acquired by leading Australian B2B publisher

Interpoint Events, part of The Intermedia Group (Intermedia), has acquired the Australian Water Management Review (AWMR).

The AWMR is a bi-annual business-to-business publication which takes an in-depth look at the water management industry in Australia and Asia. Catering to a targeted audience of key personnel and decision makers within the water industry, AWMR will retain its editorial and sales team of Kathryn Edwards and Abigail Hickman, and will continue to focus on key developments and projects taking place within the sector.  

Kathryn and Abigail will be supported by a dedicated team at Intermedia, one of Australia’s largest and most respected business-to-business publishers.

Simon Cooper, Interpoint managing director  and Intermedia publisher, says he is looking forward to working with the team to provide a publication which promises an autonomous review of Australian initiatives in water management including case studies, news, stories and commentary from leading industry bodies.

“The magazine will also review how these developments impact and progress the water industry in Australia and internationally”, he says.

“Planning is well underway for 2015, and features will include water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, water in mining, irrigation, education & training and much more. We will continue to deliver strong editorial, while advancing the digital offering and creating a valuable source of information for the industry”.

AWMR will join the stable of 30 Intermedia titles and will be part of the Interpoint media portfolio which includes Position magazine, spatialsource.com.au and Freedom2live.com.au. Interpoint also organises more than 15 different Australian and international events annually, including the award winning SPLASH! Pool and Spa trade expo, and the World Aquatic Health Conference, both recently held on the Gold Coast, and Piscine SPLASH! Asia in Singapore.
