Compuwares DevPartner, QACenter and Vantage chosen for critical application projects in large end-to-end distributed product deal!
Compuware Asia-Pacific today announced that the Commonwealth Bank of Australia has selected Compuwares productivity tools to help bring new consumer services to market. The Bank plans to roll out its CommSee application, using Compuware tools to develop, test, deploy and manage the application. CommSee provides a single view of a customer's relationship with the Bank, enabling staff to identify and respond to requirements, regardless of where and when the customer may wish to access the Bank's services.
According to Ian Gannell, Application Services Executive, Group Technology, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Compuware offered a more complete end-to-end solution which most closely matched our needs for full life-cycle management. We based our decision on product capabilities, proven results and technical finesse - Compuware was well matched for this project.
This is a highly competitive, transparent business if new products are severely delayed in reaching the Banks end users, it impacts on our customers and our reputation. We feel that Compuware will successfully address all of the quality, risk mitigation and speed-to-market requirements which CommSee demands.
We have also purchased a professional services package from Compuware which includes implementation assurance, formal training and ongoing mentoring, Mr Gannell said.
Compuware is thrilled to be working on such a strategic, customer-facing initiative for Commonwealth Bank. This agreement demonstrates the Banks confidence in our ability to deliver a practical end-to-end solution to mitigate risk and maximise the business value of CommSee, said Steve Jobson, Senior Vice President, Compuware Asia-Pacific.
For this major project the Bank will be using DevPartner Studio Enterprise Edition for application development; QACenter for comprehensive automated testing; and Vantage for application performance management and production troubleshooting.
