Pronto Software kick starts 2015 with two new General Managers

Anthony Nicholl welcomed as General Manager in South Australia and Malcolm Ferguson promoted to General Manager in Victoria and Tasmania
19 February 2015: Pronto Software, Australian technology company and provider of next generation ERP, mobile and analytics software, today announces two new management appointments for the business. Anthony Nicholl has been appointed General Manager of Pronto Software’s South Australia division, while Malcolm Ferguson has been promoted to General Manager of the company’s operations in Victoria and Tasmania.
 
Previously, Anthony Nicholl held the role of General Manager Aftermarket for ADRAD Group. Boasting strong experience in the retail, distribution and supply chain sector, as well as obtaining deep technical knowledge of business management software throughout his career, Nicholl brings a wealth of knowledge to the Pronto Software business. In his new role leading Pronto’s South Australian unit, which opened in 2012, Nicholl has been charged with managing all core business functions across sales and professional services to customer support.
 
“Adelaide is my home and I’m delighted to head up the operation here in South Australia. I’m very much looking forward to playing a strong role in contributing towards Pronto’s future, as well as working with the many growing customers across the state and opening the doors to more mid-market companies based in the region,” said Nicholl.

Additionally, Malcolm Ferguson holds extensive experience in sales management; gained working with software vendors including Oracle Corporation, HP and IBM.  Ferguson has been promoted from his previous sales role at Pronto Software where he was responsible for the delivery of sustainable business management software projects to mid-market customers in NSW. Ferguson was also tasked with delivering best-in-class solutions to drive business growth and operational improvements.
 
In his new role as General Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Ferguson will be responsible for strategic planning and operations of all business units including sales and services across the two locations.
 
“Over the last 25 years, I have gained extensive industry and enterprise level software experience. In my new position, I look forward to leveraging this experience and playing a leading role in Pronto’s growth within these business regions,” said Ferguson.
 
“Today, businesses are easily able to capture data however being able to interpret that data is the real challenge. I look forward to helping our customers better leverage their data to enable smarter operational decisions every hour of every day,” continued Ferguson.
 
Ferguson will be focused on developing Pronto’s relationships with mid-market companies across supply chain, manufacturing, retail and field services, all key sectors for Pronto in Australia’s south east regions. With many existing customers migrating to the latest release, Pronto Xi 720, Ferguson is also charged with making this transition as seamless as possible.
 
Both Nicholl and Ferguson will directly report to Chad Gates, who was promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Pronto Software last September.
