Choosi adds car insurance to its range of online product comparisons

Insurance comparison website, Choosi has added car insurance to its range of products.  The free online service now enables consumers to compare and apply for insurance across a broad range of products including Car, Home & Contents, Funeral, Pet, Life, Income Protection and Health.

According to research conducted last year, 80 per cent* of Australian car-owners have comprehensive car insurance, highlighting the need for this type of service.  Data also suggests that around half a million car insurance policies will be up for grabs when customers shop around to renew their car insurance policies this year**.

David Parsons, General Manager at Choosi, said adding car insurance was a logical next step for the business, “This is a big, but important step for us.  ‘Car insurance’ is one of the top search terms across the insurance category and purchasing decisions are increasingly being made online.  Being able to make the research process as simple and transparent as possible is key for us.
