16 March 2015

New Zealand’s leading accounting software provider MYOB is pleased to announce the appointment of Alla Keogh as the new Head of People and Performance.

Ms Keogh brings with her more than 15 years of experience in the professional, financial, and IT service industries.

She will work within MYOB’s executive team to identify opportunities to continue to lift the organisational capability across the company.

MYOB CEO Tim Reed says Ms Keogh’s extensive Human Resources experience across a number of industries and sectors made her the perfect candidate to lead MYOB’s People and Performance team.

“I am thrilled to welcome Alla to MYOB. Alla has an outstanding reputation – she has an innovative and enthusiastic approach and has facilitated some really fantastic outcomes within the companies she has previously worked. Her experience in building teams in fast paced businesses matches with our desire to build upon and strengthen MYOB by continuing to develop an exceptional team.

“The MYOB culture provides a sustainable competitive advantage to us and Alla has very quickly not just developed an intuitive sense for our culture but also a vision to drive it forward,” Reed says.

Ms Keogh says she is excited to join MYOB because of the transformation that MYOB has undergone in recent years as it has moved to being a leading provider of online accounting solutions.

“It is our people who are going to have the most significant impact with regard to our success. There are amazing opportunities to leverage MYOB’s intellectual capital and indeed for our people to go from strength to strength throughout the coming years,” Ms Keogh said.

“MYOB is already at a best practice level in many of its people related initiatives, but I’m keen for us to really push the boundaries and achieve new heights,” Ms Keogh explained.

The assembly of the newly restructured People and Performance team will partner closely with the company’s senior leaders to ensure innovative and best people and management practice across the whole organisation.

Ms Keogh will lead MYOB’s human resource strategy across the entire MYOB business.
