Young Brisbane couple launch beauty brand.

Launched in October 2014, toffey gel polish is an Australian business that specialises in providing customers with affordable and quality gel polish. toffey works with stylish, outgoing women who want to complete their look and feel beautiful for any occasion. toffey helps their customers by providing inspiring gel nail polish products and the confidence to do their own gel polish manicures at home.

toffey gel polish was founded by Brisbanites Tahlia Maynard and Cody Shorter. Tahlia was a manicure every fortnight kind of gal and with a supportive boyfriend in finance who one day realised that her fabulous nail addiction had become an expensive hobby.

Tahlia decided that she would start doing her own manicures at home, but quickly worked out that she wasn’t getting the same results as she was by her nail technician. She says “I began my DIY gel polish journey by trialling a few different brands and found myself unhappy with either the product or the service. I thought I could do it better... So that’s just what I did”.

toffey knew their target market pretty quickly, and Tahlia found that she assimilated herself with their potential customer base. toffey is a brand that loves fashion but isn’t hung up on appearance, that worships the woman of today who enjoys feeling and looking her best.

Being a local business we have put a lot of effort in making sure our product and customer service is on the mark. toffey has been through all sorts of quality control, including been tried and tested personally by Tahlia as well has having input from her fellow fashionista friends.
