No Credit Card? No Worries! Park with POLi or PayPal

SYDNEY, Australia, Wednesday 29th April, 2015 — As more motorists switch from the roadside “Pay & Display” machine to the convenience of Smartphone parking, CellOPark announced today that their ticketless “Pay-as-You-Go” parking accounts can be topped up using bank account funds without the need for a credit or debit card.

With a significant number of members opting to purchase pre-paid cards for their parking account, CellOPark Australia have made this already simple process even more convenient. Motorists using a CellOPark pre-paid account can simply top-up using bank account or PayPal funds right from within the CellOPark app.

To use CellOPark, motorists install a free native app on their Apple or Android smartphone and register vehicle, phone and payment details to create an account. Starting a paid parking session is then simply a matter of selecting a signposted matching zone in the app and pressing ‘start’ or pointing the phones camera at a QR code on CellOPark Signage. Non smartphone users can also enjoy the convenience of the CellOPark system by registering for free at www.cellopark.com.au and calling the sign posted number with caller ID enabled and following the prompts. Parking officers enforce the ticketless parking by checking vehicle licence plates in the system using their own internet connected devices and vehicle mounted License Plate Recognition technology.
